Our Ministries
Education -
The Education ministry exists to assist the home in bringing up children in "the discipline and instruction of the Lord" (Eph6:1-4), as well as to equip all Christians "for the work of service . . . and the knowledge of the Son of God . . ." (Eph 4:12-13). There are Bible classes for all ages. Our classes occur on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. and on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. These classes are balanced, encouraging, and faith building.
Benevolence -
The Benevolence ministry provides physical help for individuals in need. We also maintain a pantry for those who may have special needs for food or other essential items. Food items are donated by our members and a donation barrel is located in the foyer of the auditorium.
Family -
The purpose of our family ministry is to support the church's vision of serving, sharing, and changing individuals and families through encouragement and education.
Granites -
All members age 50 and above are encouraged to join the "Marble Falls Granites." This is an active and loving group of Christians that engage in benevolent and service projects as well as fellowship and fun.
Missions -
The Marble Falls church takes to heart Christ's command to "go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." As such, we place a heavy emphasis on both domestic and foreign missions. Additionally, we are involved in the training of preachers as they prepare for the work of fulltime ministry. We also encourage and assist our college students to participate in short term mission trips to areas all over the world.
Outreach -
Jesus' last words to his disciples before ascending to Heaven were, "...go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." (Matthew 28:19-20), Marble Falls is our nation, and we want everyone to come to know Christ and take him on in baptism. If you want any help, study, or prayers, we are here for you.
Prison -
A group from our congregation spends time each week with prisoners at the State Prison in Burnet. We conduct worship services and Bible studies and have baptized many as a result of this good work.
Spanish -
Spanish Bible study and worship occurs at the Spanish House each Sunday at 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. Home Bible studies are conducted as we reach out to our Spanish speaking community with the Gospel of Jesus. Each year we also undertake a medical mission trip to Mexico in order to meet physical and spiritual needs of the people there and as an encouragement to the church in Mexico.
Visitation -
The purpose of our visitation program is to show God's love to those who visit our services, to new comers to this area and to those in our congregation who need encouragement.
World Bible School -
This is a prolific and far-flung evangelistic effort by Bible correspondence course in which students from all over the world learn about God's will. A group of our ladies meet each Wednesday to grade tests, send out lessons, and enroll new students into this program.
