How can you offer prices this low?

Spatter's Web Design Services is in a period of extreme growth. Bringing quality websites to new clients is a high priority.

Most web development companies charge between $60 and $125 per hour for custom design. It's expensive because they need to cover the cost of advertising, the salaries of the designers, and all the other costs of big business. Our prices are lower because we're a small business with minimal overhead.

Also, you'll communicate directly with your designer. There's no intermediary. You'll work one-on-one with your highly-trained designer until you are satisfied.

Does my business really need a website?

In this technology-driven market, a business without a website is guaranteed to fall short of its maximum potential customer base. Customers will quite often judge a business based on the information presented in a website.

When a customer wants to know more about a specific business, chances are they will turn to the World Wide Web. The Internet has become the easiest way to shop around and compare prices, products, and services. A business without a website is immediately at a competitive disadvantage.

Even if you don't plan to sell a product online, a website is a valuable tool. A well-built website: An informative website with a crisp, professional feel is certain to increase business.

What services do I need to get my website made and posted on the Internet?

You will need: a Domain Name, a Web Host, and most importanly, a Website. Spatter's Web Design Services can supply you with all three.

If you would like to get a fairly simple information-based site up quickly, consider one of the
All-in-One Packages. If you would like a more in-depth site with forms, complex tables, and database-driven elements, a custom designed site is a better solution. In this case, you would need to acquire your domain name, host, and website seperately.

What is a domain name?

A domain name is a unique name that identifies an Internet site. For example, our domain name is spattersweb.net. To register a domain name, it must be available (or not in use by another website).

For a small fee, a domain registrar will register your domain name on the Internet. This service basically involves associating this unique name with the actual physical address of your web host.

Spatter's Web Design Services now offers affordable
domain registration.

What is a web host?

A web host is a company that provides you with space on one of their online servers. This is where your site is physically located on the net. You store your website on your host's server and they provide the service of making the site available to everyone on the Internet.

Spatter's Web Design Services now offers affordable
hosting plans.

Can I use 3rd-party hosting services or domain registrars?

Of course. Spatter's Web Design Services will gladly design and develop your website, even if you choose other companies to provide hosting and domain registration. Although, I recommend that you allow me to handle your domain registration and hosting, especially if you have no experience dealing with name servers. It will allow for smoother and quicker site development and will require less work from you.

How is payment collected?

For custom web design, a down payment of 15% of the estimated project cost is due before work can begin. The remaining balance is to be made within 3 weeks of the end of the project's completion. If the project is long-term or is built in stages, payment may be requested at the end of each month for the work done within that month.

Checks, money-orders, and credit card payments (through Paypal) are acceptable forms of payment.
